Heather Abadie, a junior at Texas A&M representing Canada, became the first female athlete in program history to win the pole vault title with a first-attempt clearance at 14-2 (4.32m) at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
